ABOUT THE PROPERTY

Inspiration for this design comes from Saint George's powerful lance, "Ascalon", a symbol of hope for the future.  This medical park creates a calm, relaxing and healing atmosphere. 

 

The offices surround a central courtyard that creates a restorative environment.  Ascalon inspires caregivers in their heroic commitment to their patients, and provides an environment of peace and healing.  The courtyard is the central lifeline of the building, connecting the offices to the outside and natural light.  A canopy over the primary entrance evokes imagery of a drawbridge conveying the feeling of shelter and protection.  The building exterior is layered with stone and brick walls. 

 

The overall result is a harmonious composition that creates a place of respite and repose.
